Peavey Bandit 112s TransTube Review. Let me start by saying I've always hated transistor amps. I've owned several Fender, and Marshall amps in the past, most recently a Yamaha T-100c wich was designed by Mike Soldano. It was basically a Soldano 2 channel 112 combo (a/b'd it with a Soldano head for comparison).the fender amps I do have are not in the same price range as my peavey amps so that does make a difference. I feel peavey really gets that clean tone down, turn the reverb dial to get some reverb, and thats all I really need. they sound great with gain too, my peavey combo amp has one of my favorite overdrive sounds build right into the amp.
