The Bright Pi is a breakout/add on board for the Raspberry Pi (can be used with other I2C devices too - Arduino etc.) which adds both visible bright white light and infrared illumination to the Raspberry Pi, for use with the Raspberry Pi camera module, the Pi NoIR camera module or for any other project which requires bright LEDs! If you later see fairly high levels even with low light, you can add extra resistance between the positive voltage and the pin of the light sensor. If you are using a soldered photoresistor, you only need 3.3V (Pin 1) from the Raspberry Pi to VCC and GND and GND (Pin 6) from the Pi.
